When you right-click on a clip on the timeline, a context menu pops up and one of the options on that context menu is "Insert an Effect"

It would be a nice feature to have this on the context menu for the track, to easily add effects to the track. 

For master effects, the button does not have a context menu, but it should have, and also be able to add effects through that. 

Lastly, in the Effect/Composition stack, there is also no context menu, but there should be to be able to add effect there. 

Basically, anywhere where you can drag an effect to, it should also be possible to add an effect through a context menu. 

Right now, it is not really obvious to new users that it is possible to add effects to tracks or the project.
