Application: plasmashell (6.2.5) ApplicationNotResponding [ANR]: false Qt Version: 6.8.1 Frameworks Version: 6.9.0 Operating System: Linux 6.6.68-1-lts x86_64 Windowing System: Wayland Distribution: "Arch Linux" DrKonqi: 6.2.5 [CoredumpBackend] -- Information about the crash: On boot and when opening an application (any application) the applications first open then crash and reopen, this happens only when opening applications from the KDE interface and not from the command line. This is also not limited to the applications but also interacting with the desktop enviroment like right clicking applications in the task bar, or right clicking the desktop to access the settings. The easiest way to replicate this is to press the super key (windows button) and type the name of the application like firefox or thunderbird and the crash will occur if there are no instances of the applications. The crash can be reproduced every time. -- Backtrace (Reduced): #5 __pthread_kill_implementation (threadid=<optimized out>, signo=signo@entry=6, no_tid=no_tid@entry=0) at pthread_kill.c:44 #6 0x00007c0616aa5463 in __pthread_kill_internal (threadid=<optimized out>, signo=6) at pthread_kill.c:78 #7 0x00007c0616a4c120 in __GI_raise (sig=sig@entry=6) at ../sysdeps/posix/raise.c:26 #8 0x00007c0616a334c3 in __GI_abort () at abort.c:79 #9 0x00007c0619ac5734 in wl_abort (fmt=fmt@entry=0x7c0619aca7f0 "Tried to add event to destroyed queue\n") at ../wayland-1.23.1/src/wayland-util.c:476 Reported using DrKonqi

Correction, the plasmashell crashes when opening applications not the applications.
Switch back to the default renderer and this should be fixed for you; see Bug 482754. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 482754 ***
