recording of the coloring issue

the issue is on the advanced color selector, the bottom of the selection is bugged. i dont know how to explain, but ive provided a vid (which is the attachment. pls watch now)
the color glitch you see isnt my recroding quality,,, its what is actually there. and i thought it was just a screen issue at first, but if you look closely you can see that the color is very off, and it paints that way as well. i think the issue is just some colors are not avaliable, because even if im blending or such, some colors become very off. heres an example in a drawing if that helps me explain any better:

im also unable to use some layer effects, or they just dont work entirely. the overlay/screen/linear burn are ones ive noticed are very broken. some are unavailable in general. i used an overlay layer on the above image, and its full opacity and white, but it has a more yellow tint+funked up some colors. theres also a duplicated layer that is the same color, but on multiply and lower opacity, but still doesnt give the same effect as it should.

the error thing was never there before, and i could use everything just fine. this started happening a week or so ago, and ive tried uninstalling+reinstalling twice and it didnt fix the issue. ive also tried using different color selectors but that didnt work either.
i apologize if this is informal in any way. i really love this program and i dont want to switch to another one because of this issue. :( im on v5.2.6 on mincrosoft windows

What is written on the bottom bar of Krita, under the picture? It should be "RGB/Alpha..." and I suspect it's "CMYK/Alpha" and probably "Chemical Proof" later as well.

That CMYK profile is provided but you shouldn't use it for painting, you should always use RGB for painting, especially if you don't know color spaces that much. When making another picture, go to File -> New, and then under the Dimensions you'll find "Color" -> "Color Model" drop down, choose RGB/Alpha. It should automatically choose "sRGB-elle-V2-srgbtrc.icc (Default)" in "Profile". That should fix your issue.

Also for pictures that are already painted in CMYK, make sure you have the picture saved as .kra, then go to Image -> Convert Image Color Space, in Model choose RGB/Alpha again, click OK, and then make sure to File -> Save As *under a different name* also as a .kra file. The colors might change slightly, but the colors were already wrong on that picture so hopefully it won't be too much of a loss.

If you want to learn a proper CMYK pipeline, you might want to visit krita-artists.org forum and ask there.
