Stuck on this screen until F5 is pressed.

Sometimes the "Recent Files" fails to load and stays like this attachment until the user presses F5, which causes it to load immediately.

So far it only happens when I go there for the first time since booting.
When it doesn't load, that thing on the Bottom-Right corner is not blue.
Comment 2 Justin Zobel 2025-01-04 02:44:58 UTC
Can you please start dolphin from Konsole and see if it provides any output, if it does, please paste it in here as a comment.

Thank you for this bug report, we have reviewed it and found it needs further information, please add the requested information and move the bug status back to REPORTED when you do.

So far I couldn't get the issue to happen, however there are other issues:

Konsole + Dolphin's Recent Files

1- Boot your PC.
2- Open Dolphin (with tabs in any place but "Recent Files").
3- Open "Recent Files" on a new tab.
4- Go to that tab.

This way I can constantly reproduce the issue.

Unpoluted video

Seems like that the issue does not show in the terminal.
Comment 8 TraceyC 2025-01-08 19:52:15 UTC
Thanks for the videos, I can clearly see what's happening on your system.
I'm not able to reproduce this on Dolphin 24.08.3 or Dolphin built from git-master (25.03.70)
Maybe someone else can reproduce.
Comment 9 Akseli Lahtinen 2025-01-09 19:21:56 UTC
I am also unable to reproduce this at the moment

dolphin 25.03.70
Comment 10 John Kizer 2025-01-14 06:19:59 UTC
This appears to be the same as an issue with a fix on the way in Plasma 6.3.0.
