Selection of text

SUMMARY
When using text selection and selecting text in the document, it applies its function to the below two lines as well.
!!This also affects the highlighter-function, highlighting several lines of text!!
I've not had this problem using this program before.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open PDF
2. Left-click "Text Selection" or "Yellow highlighter" in upper right corner
3. Left-click and hold, drag mouse + maybe let go, if it's a highlighter

OBSERVED RESULT
Several lines selected/highlighted

EXPECTED RESULT
One line selected/highligted

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: Windows 11 Home, Version 24H2

I'm able to reproduce it on my machine, with the pdf I have attached before
