Description Karl Gustav 2024-12-31 10:25:33 UTC
SUMMARY
When right clicking on your desktop and choosing "Display Settings" (and the window has previously set to maximized) there is some odd scaling/zooming effect going during the Window appears. For a split second it appears like the window is rendered in much higher DPI or "zoomed in". I saw this on all of my 3 Systems that run KDE.
It'snothing "problematic" though, just doesn't look nice.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Go to Display Settings and Maximize the Window. Then close the Window
2. Right Click on Desktop and then again go to "display settings"
3. You'll see it "scaling" with much higher DPI for a split second.

OBSERVED RESULT
scaling/zoomed effect

EXPECTED RESULT
The effect shouldn't happen.

Can reproduce. It's a systemsettings / QtQuickWidget issue where it submits wrong frame rather than a kwin issue.

I think I fixed this in Qt.
Can you confirm if this is still an issue and reopen if so.
