SUMMARY

When previewing videos (even in fullscreen) there is no sound - with all video formats

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Decoding backend for videos: ffmpeg
2. Double-click a video file in digikam browser or open preview of video file
3. hear nothing

OBSERVED RESULT

there is no sound when playing a video in digikam

EXPECTED RESULT

when previewing a video i expect to hear the audio from that video (when sound is not muted)

Just to be sure, you haven't set the volume control in the video status bar in digiKam to minimum?

Please also try our AppImage to make sure it is not a Neon package problem.

The problem is solved by giving the Flatpak access to PulseAudio.
