Description Oswald Buddenhagen 2024-12-29 17:16:24 UTC
note: version 0.12.15 is missing from the list.

after upgrading to plasma 6, the overlay effect window isn't fullscreen anymore. instead it's a maximized semi-transparent framed window (that can be closed).

it seems that kwin now needs a stronger hint that the window is indeed meant to be fullscreen.
note that vlc and chromium manage to fullscreen themselves, so this isn't fundamentally broken.

the position of the countdown dialog is also bogus, but that's probably already covered by bug #498027.

KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.8.0
Qt Version: 6.2.7

Are you on wayland or x11?
Comment 2 Oswald Buddenhagen 2024-12-29 20:47:23 UTC
x11

somewhat probably related to that, "suppress if fullscreen windows present" also doesn't work anymore.
hmm, come to think of it, the activity tracking doesn't work anymore, either.

turns out i actually _am_ on wayland and didn't even notice, except for the regressions. duh.
