Thanks for reporting this bug. I tested it with 24.12.0 on a Pop!_OS 22.04 LTS (Ubuntu-based) system and the progress is displayed correctly (see attachment). Could you please update to the latest version? If it still shows B/s, download the appimage and test again. If render progress is shwon correctly in the appimage version, it is a packaging issue on the Fedora side.
That's in the Kdenlive render dialog. That one is fine. I'm talking about the tray notification that appears in the corner.
Also I don't use appimages and I'm not sure how packaging would have affected this particular issue.
It's almost like the normal file copy progress notification is being reused here without tweaking the progress status output.

Maybe we have fixed this issue in the latest version. Please try with the latest AppImage version 24.12.2 to see if the issue still exists. https://kdenlive.org/en/download/
