How big is your JPG file in size?
I see that you try to save while a job for the JPG is running.
Try again and wait until the job is done. Then save it. Does it still crash?

Hello !!

Thanks for your response.

The jpg file is too light, the size doesnt weight more than 0.5M, is just
some Kb.

The process not include to save the file, just with add the file the system
crashs.

I have reinstalled the system, but the issue persists.

Regards.

If you are on Windows, make sure that you run Kdenlive with administrator rights otherwise it will crash. Does the user account you run Kdenlive on have administrator rights?

We don’t know why but running Kdenlive without administrator rights the program cannot access some folders and files.

Find Kdenlive in the Start Menu, right-click and select 'Run as administrator' within the More section.

The pc have only one account and is with Admin setting.

Anyway, I will to verify.

Hi, tomorrow I will test running Kdenlive with Admin permissions, the thing
is that I got sick with the flu and I haven't touched the PC.

Regards.

Hello team!!

Here I am back. I will continue testing the reported issue because now I
realize that the error only occurs with PNG files, the strangest thing is
that not with all of them, only with some.

So, I want to think that this may be an isolated situation and not a
general one.

If the event changes for the worse, I will let you know.

I apologize for the interruption and thank you for the support.

Greetings.

Jorge
