SUMMARY

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. use a laptop, disconnected from power
2. wait for the battery to discharge to below 5% or whatever the threshold is
3. => screen brightness gets reduced automatically
4. connect to power

OBSERVED RESULT
The screen brightness doesn't go back to its original value.
I have no idea whether other power-saving features got activated when the battery went below the threshold and were not deactivated when I connected to power.

EXPECTED RESULT
When you connect to power, whatever power saving actions were taken when the battery level went below the threshold, should be reverted. Including screen brightness.

It's a duplicate, but of Bug 484663. Please feel free to leave a comment on that other bug about the optimal behavior when dimming and restoring low battery brightness according to the percentage setting. Thanks for the testing and good reminder!
