As the attachment shows, there's a noticeable delay when having a file over an Drag & Drop area of websites.
It seems that constant cursor movement extends the delay.

Hi - can you please check to see if that occurs using multiple web browsers, including Firefox and Chromium-based ones? From my experience, Firefox is slower to respond to drag-and-drop situations like that than Chromium-based browsers.

The attachment video was of Firefox.

Testing on Chrome would have the hassle of requiring me to login, is there a site that doesn't require login in it to use a Drag & Drop function?

I think it would make sense to test on the same site. For reference, I use Proton Drive - dragging and dropping into Firefox has a lag time of about 2 seconds before the web app picks up the event. Dragging and dropping into Chromium (using Vivaldi) is instant.

This has precedent in reports from others:

Chrome has no delay.

Chrome responds when it's supposed to.

Thanks for confirming - tagging as downstream with the Mozilla Bugzilla ticket that's most closely correlated as far as I can see.
