When recording a video, an error occurs if you select VebM/VP9. If you select H264, then everything works.

Hi - I couldn't reproduce this issue on my Fedora KDE 41 system. Could you please verify if you have, and are using, OpenH264 or x264 for encoding on your system? There have been some other issues pop up (see https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=485733#c22 ) where folks have experienced issues specifically when using x264, so that may be relevant in this case.

Both H264 and h264 work fine in my system. In the Spectacle itself, you can select H264 in the settings.

You're asking what I use. This uses Spectacle and what exactly it uses when I choose H264 − I have no idea.

Aha, this issue: the inverse of Bug 485733. It should be fixed in Spectacle 24.12.0 with Plasma 6.2.5.
