SUMMARY
When marble 24.12.0 is installed, a broken app .desktop file appears in the app launcher, titled "ESRI Shapefile" with no thumbnail. Clicking this app results in a crash with the text "No exec field in /usr/share/applications/marble_thumbnail_shp.desktop"

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install marble
2. Open the KDE app launcher

OBSERVED RESULT
There is a broken desktop file labeled "ESRI Shapefile" that has no functionality

EXPECTED RESULT
Either there is no broken icon or the app is properly implemented.

Hi - I can reproduce this on Fedora KDE 41 and on an up-to-date Neon VM.
