The settings I wish to apply in Dolphin

SUMMARY
As of Dolphin 24.12, the program no longer respects my default display style.
All directories have been reverted to the default icons view, away from the list view I had set as default before this update.
I have to set them back to my preferred display style on a per-directory basis.

In the "View Display Style" menu, setting a style for "All folders" and "Use as default view settings" no longer seems to do anything, as it only affects the current directory, and no sub-directories.

If I apply it to "Current folder and sub-folders" instead of "All folders", it does apply my settings. But of course, only to the current directory and sub-directories.

Before this version of Dolphin, I could set a global standard view display mode, even for directories I don't have write permission to. I am aware of the change with how Dolphin has moved away from .directory files by default, which of course is awesome! Hopefully this feature can be made to cooperate with that change.

When running Dolphin in a terminal, this pops up occasionally:

kf.kio.core.connection: Socket not connected QLocalSocket::PeerClosedError
kf.kio.core: An error occurred during write. The worker terminates now.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Dolphin.
2. Open "Adjust View Display Style" under "View".
3. Set it to anything desirable, and apply to "All folders" and "Use as default view settings".

OBSERVED RESULT
Only the current directory changes its view, sub-directories and other directories do not.

EXPECTED RESULT
A uniform view across all directories.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: 6.12.4
KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.9.0
Qt Version: 6.8.1
