Description aronkvh 2024-12-14 16:08:16 UTC
When a monitor is plugged in (HMD wired to NVIDIA GPU, 1920x1080), and plasma auto-locks, the internal laptop screen will sometimes become disabled. Restarting KWin doesn't help. In the KCM the laptop screen still shows, but it's completely black the mouse cursor can't move to it. I tried reproducing but seems random. The only thing common is that it happens after plasma is unlocked from a screen lock.

This also happens on Fedora 41 with Plasma 6.2.5, now logging out doesn't solve it either, but a reboot does
