When a monitor is plugged in (HMD wired to NVIDIA GPU, 1920x1080), and plasma auto-locks, the internal laptop screen will sometimes become disabled. Restarting KWin doesn't help. In the KCM the laptop screen still shows, but it's completely black the mouse cursor can't move to it. I tried reproducing but seems random. The only thing common is that it happens after plasma is unlocked from a screen lock. System info: Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20241211 KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.8.0 Qt Version: 6.8.1 Kernel Version: 6.11.8-1-default (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 16 × 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-13620H Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® Graphics Manufacturer: SLIMBOOK Product Name: HERO-RPL-RTX Additional info: Seems related to [{{bug|461428}}
This also happens on Fedora 41 with Plasma 6.2.5, now logging out doesn't solve it either, but a reboot does

Thanks for the bug report. I'm sorry we weren't able to get to this yet. If this is still happening in 6.4.2 or later, can you please paste the output of kscreen-doctor -o into a comment in this report? Also, when this happens, are all the windows that were opened move to the external monitor? Are you able to move windows to the internal screen? Thanks.
