Description postix 2024-12-13 18:38:06 UTC
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Edit the tags of a file in the details panel (F11)
2. Click on an existing tag, called "foo" for example

OBSERVED RESULT
/foo/ is copied into the input field. If you create this tag now, you won't be able to use it, because Dolphin will claim that the "file or folder tags:/foo" does not exist.

The tag name will appear as "/foo" in the column of the details view.
However, it will appear as "foo" in the "tags:/" folder and everywhere else, including the tag editor.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: Fedora Linux 41
KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.8.0
Qt Version: 6.8.0
Graphics Platform: Wayland

FWIW, I will give up on this tagging in Dolphin for now. :-/
