I'm requesting that NumLock should be activated by default if the internal/external keyboard has a NumPad. It's far more likely that the user who has a NumPad wants the NumLock to be enabled, than disabled. This shouldn't affect detected keyboards that doesn't have a NumPad.
For reference, there's an existing merge request with discussion on this topic: https://invent.kde.org/plasma/kwin/-/merge_requests/6788

On my Raspberry Pi keyboard, it does not repect the KDE settings. But SDDM does respect the KDE settings.

A comment from the duplicate report: > It's important to have it enabled by default while booting because many people use numbers as their password. It's specially true from users coming from Windows, as Microsoft encourages the use of a numeric PIN for logging in and thus migrating users are likely to have a password with numbers, and not only that, but I'm not aware of any downsides of having it turned on by default, so I believe it should be enabled on boot so you can type a numeric password on the login screen without having to press numlock everytime.
