Description Angel 2024-12-11 15:16:13 UTC
When I use my second screen I have this weird issue in games where the fps will be around 100 fps and will fluctuate. But its not my hardware that is not capable of running them, glxgears and eglgears both have this issue. After stopping my second screen the vsync works as normal and I am getting around 144 FPS as I should. I also tested weston and with both screens on the issue there doesn't exist.

Do your screens perhaps overlap in the display settings (even if only ever so slightly)?

I just checked they aren't. But I also found out that running this gives me this output.
❯ journalctl -b 0 --grep "renderer for"
-- No entries --

So I think that this is some sort of issue on my part rather than a bug. If someone else has this issue without any other issues, they can reopen this.
