SUMMARY
Login Freezes when attempting to login using (sddm) custom username and password.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. install the latest version of KDENEON (stable edition) 
2. set waylaid as window manager, reboot 
3. when attempting to login press Other, to allow entering custom username and password
4. enter your username and press tab (or click on password field) and then it freezes
5. behold 

OBSERVED RESULT
Login Freezes when attempting to login in Wayland session using (sddm)  custom username and password 

EXPECTED RESULT
Normal login into Wayland session using (sddm) custom username and password.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
KDE Neon User Edition
KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.3 
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.8.0 
Qt Version: 6.8.0
Nvidia Driver: nvidia-driver-565-open 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
experienced it on two different machines with different NVIDIA GPU cards (1650 Super and 3090) 
sometime it worked and I can login, but most of the time it wont, when using provided user field and just entering password it works fine

Solved with QT-upgrade to 6.8.1
