After connecting a VNC session (I only have this type of session), the background is complete translucent. The contents appear on the translucent background making it very difficult to use.

This problem still persists with 25.04.2

Also it seems this is reproducible  on all platforms including intel.

QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb makes it work again.
