Rendered video.

I noticed this when submitting another bug. Compare the attachments of the video preview and the rendered video. the different is very noticeable.

My theory is that the rendering is acting as if the whole source video's screen is being rendered, instead of treating the Edge Cropped area as the whole screen.

Just to make sure we have the same understanding:
1) You define the output resolution for the video by selecting the appropriate project profile. For example, 1920x1080. This is the default output dimensions when rendering the project into the video.
2) You may want to rescale the output video by using the rescale function in the render dialog. This makes the whole video output smaller.
3) Using the Edge Crop effect (or any cropping effect) just crops the clip it is applied to (cutting off the sides it is applied to; unless the clip is then re-sized with a Transform effect, it stays put with black space around the sides where it was cropped). When applied to a track or On Master, it essentially puts "black tape" on the video. In any case it DOES NOT CHANGE the output dimensions of the rendered video.

Please confirm this is the case.

I wish I had the technical knowledge, but all I can say is that the preview shown by Kdenlive right before the rendering has far more quality than the video rendered at 100% quality in MP4-H265 (HEVC), as both screenshots show, there's a massive blur introduced.

Is this bug not reproducible?
