SUMMARY
Unable to change storage path from the default path using Zorin OS 17.2 Pro.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Kasts
2. Click Settings
3. Click Storage
4. Uncheck use default path
5. select folder for new path: Other Location/D drive/Podcasts/Kasts

OBSERVED RESULT
Kasts re-checks use default path

EXPECTED RESULT
Would expect it to use the path I made.  Using Select Folder/Other Locations/D drive/Podcasts/Kasts

I'm trying this on my system (with the 24.08.3 flatpak version), and everything looks ok for me.  I can move the storage path elsewhere.
So I'm not able to reproduce your problem.

Could you please provide more information? E.g.:
You are using the flatpak from flathub, right?
Have you changed any flatpak permission settings, system-wide or per app?
It seems like you're trying to save it to a windows partition?  Could you try whether you can save to the linux partition (e.g. another folder in your homedir)?
