"Zoom to adjust" zooms on the top-left corner if you input it on the first frame of the image showing.

I can reproduce on 24.12.0.

It may be helpful to generally walk through the use cases you have for which bugs like this and https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=496980 have come up, for example at https://discuss.kde.org/, as perhaps there are easier methods to approach the same workflow that you're looking for?
