SUMMARY

My distro has recently switched from plasma 6.1 to 6.2 (in fact 6.2.4) and I am now noticing the following problem:

In the system tray, I have a display configuration entry, with a switch to "Enable presentation mode". When this mode is enabled the screen and the computer should be prevented from turning off automatically.

Unfortunately this does not seem to prevent (any more?) the computer screen to be locked.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Attach external screen (don't know if really needed)
2. Activate presentation mode
3. Start giving a libreoffice presentation (or any other activity for which you expect the screen to stay on even if you do not touch the keyboard and the mouse for some time)

OBSERVED RESULT

After a few minutes the screen darkens and the screen lock kicks in. You need to enter a password to get back to your presentation.

EXPECTED RESULT

In presentation mode, the screen does not lock.
