Hi - issues specific to Flathub packages for KDE applications would actually go to the Flathub GitHub repository for that application. In this case, that would be https://github.com/flathub/org.kde.gwenview/issues - where the Open With issue had already been opened, but access to the system thumbnail cache is likely a logical additional one. For what it's worth, I could not reproduce the look and feel difference on my system, although that is likely because I was comparing a more up-to-date version (Fedora RPM version 24.08.3 to Flatpak version 24.12.0).
