Description esperluette08 2024-11-30 16:59:55 UTC
SUMMARY
When settings are changed in Night color but not applied, then "Reset" button is pressed, the field values don't change back to original (last saved) values.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Night color settings
2. Enter any other values in all fields (hours, minutes and transition time).
3. Press "Reset"

OBSERVED RESULT
The fields still have the same (last entered) values.

EXPECTED RESULT
The fields should be set back to last saved values, just like when we change settings page then return to Night color page.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Manjaro / Linux 6.11.10
KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.8.0
Qt Version: 6.8.0

Can confirm. Values are changed (visual representation of the time is updated and when you restart the System Settings it displays the correct time).

Just the time fields are not updated in KCM immediately after the Reset is clicked.

I've also noticed that when the option to highlight (in yellow) changed settings, only the hour fields are highlighted, never the minute fields (even if the value is not the same as default).
