SUMMARY The application only starts with a white window. Nothing happens even after several minutes. In my case, 8.3.0 is replaced with 8.5.0 and the problem then occurs - so the DB and settings may be from the previous version. While the white window is open, there seems to be no background activity. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. The bug is no longer present with DigiKam 8.5.0 QT6 as mentioned above. Bug report could be closed.
