SUMMARY Demonstrative video: https://youtu.be/58ZiN8BQ0XM Opening dolphin in the files that a CD contains will prevent you from ejecting the disk from the taskbar applet. This does not happen when a similar situation is created with an USB drive STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Mount a CD 2. Navigate to it with Dophin and keep the terminal panel open 3. Attempt to unmount the CD through the applet OBSERVED RESULT The unmount will get rejected EXPECTED RESULT Dolphin should automatically navigate out of the folder as it does with USB drive unmountings SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.8.0 Qt Version: 6.8.0
I don't have any data CDs to reproduce this with, but if it's at all remotely relevant, a similar issue showed up (and was resolved) many years ago: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=114854
