screencast with MagicPlot

My daily task is to deal with sensor data. Thus all my data have errors. In many cases I have to fit the data. non-linear curve fitting is therefore my almost daily routine I once came to LabPlot, QtiPlot, MagicPlot etc. while searching for an alternative to Origin.

Therefore allow me to open this feature request because this feature was why I once purchased MagicPlot and still use it for my private things: Quick fit plots.

The aim is to get a curve fit as quick as possible:
1. dragging in a CSV file
2. select the columns of interest and create a plot that also opens the fitting UI

Attached is a screencast how this works in MagicPlot (can even be improved).

This is an important feature for me because as it is it takes very long as currently in LabPlot the workflow is:
1. select a column and set it as y-error
2. create a plot
3. in the plot make it a marker plot (no lines to later see the fit)
4. add the error bars
5. create the fit plot
6. in the fit UI select the y-error again

So there are many steps and I have to specify the y-error 3 times.

Now I see that LabPlot basically provides a quick way to fit, but there are bugs:

- dragging in a CSV file does not work (is bug 496805)
- when I have the CSV imported, I set the column type of the y-error column accordingly. Then I select the columns I need (x, y and y-error) and use the context menu Analyze and plot data -> Fit -> Custom the y-error is ignored It does neither appear in the plot nor in the fit settings as proposed weight (this is basically bug 496806)
- one cannot zoom into a particular region of the plot (at least I find no way) But this is a crucial feature to inspect the fit results. I reported this now as bug 496908.

Please note that I report this not to annoy you but as a fresh user.
