SUMMARY The translations of the "Recording" tab title says "Grabando" (Verb) instead of "Grabación" (Substantive). It correctly uses "grabación" and "grabando" in other places as far as I can tell, but this one is not correctly translated. I couldn't take a Screenshot of Spectactle, but it is pretty easy to see what I am saying. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open Spectacle with spanish as system Language 2. See the text in the "Recording" tab, next to the "Screenshot" tab OBSERVED RESULT It says "Grabando" EXPECTED RESULT A more adequate translation would be "Grabación" or "Videocaptura" SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora Linux 40 KDE Spin KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.8.0 Qt Version: 6.7.2
I am not sure if this is how this works, but in the invent gitlab of spectacle/po/es/spectacle.po file I found that the origin could be either at line 638 or 785, or both.
Created attachment 178754 [details] Picture of the issue Added a picture of the issue as I can not take a screenshot. The tab says "Grabando" which has no sense in that context.
