Created attachment 176139 [details] Pairing pop-up example. SUMMARY When opening the 'Bluetooth' KCM, I get a huge list of devices (50-70). It is hard to manage. The list keeps updating, and devices keep appearing/disappearing. On other platforms (iOS for example), the list is much shorter and isn't updated as often (or at least it doesn't seem to be). Would it be possible to 'filter' the list of devices? For example, I'm typically only interested in devices like: - mouse - keyboards - headphones - trackpads - etc STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open the bluetooth settings in a crowded place 2. Select "Pair device..." OBSERVED RESULT The 'Search...' box makes it a little bit easier to use, but you need to know what you are looking for (not always the case). Bluez5 offers a way to set a 'discovery filter' (https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/bluetooth/bluez.git/tree/doc/adapter-api.txt?h=5.58#n49), this would probably be a nice way to filter out unwanted devices from the list. This makes sense.
