Description Texstar 2024-11-26 08:28:03 UTC
SUMMARY
/usr/libexec/polkit-kde-authentication-agent-1 6.2.3 will run once after login then crashes with additional calls after upgrading glib2.0 to 2.83.0. I'm not sure where to post this, here or with glib2.0. polkit-kde-agent-1 5.27.11 on KDE 5 still functions normally.

If something crashed, we need a backtrace of it so we can figure out what's going on. Can you please attach a backtrace of the crash? Thanks!
Comment 2 Texstar 2024-11-26 18:17:18 UTC
We don't build packages for release with debugging enabled. 6.2.4 does the same thing. I will see what I can do to enable debugging and send you a backtrace or maybe I won't. Not sure yet. LOL
Comment 3 Nate Graham 2024-11-26 19:55:04 UTC
That's a significant problem since it means we can't debug crashes from your users. I'd recommend considering changing that. :)

Resolved: I tracked it back to fooking SDDM! What a piece of crap. Bring back KDM! LOL TTFN!
