SUMMARY
Typed a comment, pressed up, edited it, hit enter. Realised I'd made another mistake hit up and now edit box is unusable


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Send a message
2. Edit
3. Edit

OBSERVED RESULT

EXPECTED RESULT
Usable edit box.

I do remember this being broken for me as well, but can't reproduce it with latest master. Can you check with master (or 24.12 branch) if you can still reproduce this?
