Description Mozo 2024-11-24 00:17:19 UTC
SUMMARY
Files gets unselected when opened. For exemple if we select a text file and we choose to open it, it's no more selected after that. It used to stay selected after the associated application opens it. This makes very hard to work with many files in a directory for you loose which file you opened last. Let's say we have a game with 40 DLCs. In the past you can double click on the DLC file, install it and cloese the installer and the file sits selected after all the operations. Now, the moment the associated app starts, the file gets deselected and you loose awareness where you are. It's very confusing.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Mark/select a file, and open it with the associated application.

OBSERVED RESULT
As soon the associated application is open, the file gets deselected.

EXPECTED RESULT
The file should stay selected no matter what.
