Hi - I can't personally reproduce this with Dolphin 24.08.3 - a couple of questions:

Can you confirm the version of Dolphin you're using? 24.08.1 was entered into the bug tracker field, but I'm assuming an Arch Linux system that's running Plasma 6.2.3 would also be up-to-date on KDE Gear applications, including Dolphin (which is currently at 24.08.3 for released versions).

Are you able to take a screen recording of what you're seeing (Spectacle can do this) and attach to this bug report? That may help make visible anything else unique about your setup that could trigger it to occur.

Thanks!

Yes, I just forgot to update. Now with 24.08.3 the problem is gone. I'll watch it.
Thank you!

Interesting - out of curiosity (I still can't reproduce, even with creating a folder on the Desktop and starting Dolphin by opening it as you did) have you tried on a Wayland session, instead of X11, by chance?
Comment 7 Mozo 2024-11-24 16:07:52 UTC
It didn't crossed my mind to try on Wayland. Now i tried it and it's the same :)
One note - I don't know why and when, but it's random and that's why it delued me it's fixed :)

I think I found it - logout or restart and left it for about 10-15 minutes then try.
