You have to use the "update" function in the digiKam collection settings for the relevant collection (tool button with a round circle) to update it. The UUID file for the network collection has probably not yet been created or has been deleted. The dialogs can probably all be confirmed without making any changes. Maik
See the link to the online doc : https://docs.digikam.org/en/setup_application/collections_settings.html#setup-root-album-folders
For some reason, I do not have those options for the collection. I do not have the append or update options. Only the delete option is available in the collection settings.
It's a problem with the icon-set used to populate button. This is strange because all is included in the AppImage bundle. Gilles Caulier
Go to setup/misc/apparence and check Widget Style and Icon-Theme settings. Gilles Caulier
I run the digiKam 8.5.0 AppImage on my computer and icons are there : https://i.imgur.com/iXHQcT4.png The Widget and icon theme selected are : https://i.imgur.com/5nSMUcW.png The Color theme is "White Balance"... Gilles Caulier
So-called attached network collections actually have no "update" function. Do you use digiKam on different computers? Please take a screenshot of your collection settings. Maik
Hi, The new AppImage bundle 8.7.0 pre-release for Linux based on Qt 6.8.3 is online at usual place : https://files.kde.org/digikam/ Let's me know if the problem remain. Best regards Gilles Caulier
