basic when i go to open a page it freezes then goes to this program is not responding i have checked it's down to kitra because it happen when i updated to a newer version of the softwhere i checked to see if it's my computer everything is working that's  not the problem so i don't know but i just reporting and letting you know in case it's the software and if anyone has the same issue  as me

I'm sorry, but this is certainly not a bug in Krita... To figure out what is up on your computer, we'd need more information -- you could attach the output of help->krita log for bug reports and help->system information for bug reports to this report, and we might be able to figure something out. But in general, unless you are sure you have found a bug, it's better to ask other users for help since only a few developers read the reports here. https://krita-artists.org is the most active user forum for Krita users.

You can also try to add a video recording of the freezes, so we could better understand what happens.
