SUMMARY Select some files on NFS share show the following error message at the top of the panels: The desktop entry file /fs0/media/pics/Beaumont/garage_door_2.png has no Type=... entry. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open dolphin and navigate NFS share that contains .png files. 2. Click on .png file 3. See the error message at the top. OBSERVED RESULT For some reason all png files default to opening GIMP, where before upgrade, possibly to KDE 6 or more recent upgrade to Fedora 41, they defaulted to Gwenview. This issue only started happening very recently. If it set a png file's file association to gwenview, the file opens in gwenview as expected, and the error meggase is stil displayed. I've verified this only happens on files on an NFS (4) share, and only on png files. Not jpg, It also does't happen when using fish to connect via ssh, only on NFS shared files. EXPECTED RESULT No error message. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Fedora Linux 41 KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.8.0 Qt Version: 6.8.0 Kernel Version: 6.11.7-300.fc41.x86_64 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 Processors: 32 × AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core Processor Memory: 125.7 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX 550 / 550 Series I believe I am using wayland, as that is the default and I haven't changed it. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
