Looks like something changed on the google side, it no longer sends examples...

I tried version 2.11.1 and It work. @@

That's because old version used direct API calls, while starting from 3.x we use Mozhi.

Will we get an update to fix this? That is a great function for learning a foreign language.

It's a bug in Mozhi, not in the Crow.

Can you send the issue to Mozhi and provide a detailed description of the bug for them?

You can report it yourself, they have web version. For some reason it no longer displays examples, I'm not sure why.
