STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open Spectacle 2. Use the "Rectangular region" button to take a screenshot of some rectangular region (Easier to see on white backgrounds) 3. The resulting screenshot should be darker OBSERVED RESULT Screenshot is darker than screen EXPECTED RESULT Screenshot is same color as screen SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: NixOS 24.11 KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.8.0 Qt Version: 6.8.0 Kernel Version: 6.6.60 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Are you using HDR mode? If so, this is Bug 496185, which should be fixed in Plasma 6.2.4.
