SUMMARY When installing a new theme, clicking anywhere on the window, despite it animating and appearing to *not* be hung, shows (Not Responding) after a moment. Window controls that normally animate/highlight when the cursor is on them don't animate/highlight on mouse over. Themes otherwise install properly and the window becomes responsive again after installation finishes. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Go to Colors and Themes > Global Theme > Get New... 2. Open a Global Theme. 3. Click install in that Global Theme's page. 4. Click or mouse over any of the buttons in the active window. OBSERVED RESULT Window is unresponsive during Global Theme installation despite some widgets (like the spinning cog) still animating. "(Not Responding)" appears in the Window titlebar after a moment if the mouse is clicked anywhere in the window. EXPECTED RESULT Window behaves as normal while an installation is in progress. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Linux 6.11 (Arch Linux) KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.8.0 Qt Version: 6.8.0 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Despite the unresponsive window, the global theme does eventually install and the window becomes usable again. Unrelated to this bug; the (Not Responding) status remains on the Window when the window becomes responsive again. (Possibly a kwin bug, might file it separately later on if nobody's done that already)
