Description Dennis Schridde 2024-11-14 18:09:18 UTC
SUMMARY

Full screen recording will not record the monitor / display I click on, but apparently always the primary screen.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

0. Have two displays / monitors connected
1. Open Spectacle
2. Switch to the "Recording" tab
3. Click "Full Screen"
4. Click on the 2nd display (the non-primary monitor) when the mouse cursor turns into a reticle
    - I assume this is supposed to select the screen?
5. Wait, to record a few seconds of video
6. Click the red dot in the systray to end the recording (or press "Finish Recording" in the Spectacle window)

OBSERVED RESULT

The recorded video shows the primary screen, even though I click on the 2nd screen in step 4.

EXPECTED RESULT

I would expect the 2nd screen to be recorded, because that's where I clicked with the reticle in step 4.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
