Description Matthias 2024-11-13 10:55:57 UTC
SUMMARY
When downloading an archive via Firefox (snap) with the plasma-browser-integration enabled, the notification allows one to open a context menu and choose the option "Extract here, delete archive". After choosing that option the archive is extracted but not deleted from its folder.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Download a .zip-file like file.zip in Firefox with plasma-browser-integration enabled.
2. When the plasma notification shows that the download has finished, use the hamburger menu to choose "Extract here, delete archive". A notification is shown indicating the extraction process.
3. Open the download folder in Dolphin.

OBSERVED RESULT
There's a folder with the extracted contents of the archive and also the original archive file.

EXPECTED RESULT
The archive file is deleted.

I had the same issue and I've further noticed that every attempt to delete (move to trash) any file result in an error about Trash.
I suspected a corrupted file in Trash, so I deleted very thing manually in Konsole :
rm -rf ~/.local/share/Trash/*`
and then close the session.
After reopening the session it was possible to Trash files again and the context menu on compressed files (extract and removes) worked.
