Description Aaron W Morris 2024-11-12 21:56:35 UTC
SUMMARY
The moon appears to be rendered with the incorrect illumination. Over the past few days I have observed that kstars appears to render too much of the surface being illuminated. For instance, when the moon was 80% illuminated (Nov 11, 2024 ~23:00 UTC), kstars visually rendered ~90% of the surface illuminated. Features that should not be visible were shown as illuminated.

Viewing the moon with Xplanet appeared to show the proper illumination profile.
