Too small file selector.

SUMMARY

The file selector for adding a video or a folder is so small that no file is visible in it. Having to resize it each time is annoying in the long run.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. In the project sources tab, use Add a video or folder.

OBSERVED RESULT

See attachment.

EXPECTED RESULT

A file selector with a reasonable height.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: Kubuntu 24.04
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.11
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.115.0
Qt Version: 5.15.13
Kernel Version: 6.8.0-48-generic (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: offscreen
Processors: 8 × Intel® Xeon® CPU E3-1245 v5 @ 3.50GHz
Memory: 31.2 Gio of RAM
Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650/PCIe/SSE2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Appimage 24.11.70.

I have set some settings to higher DPI for texts in KDE system settings, that may have an influence on what the required height is.

Other file selectors (eg. for opening or saving a project) are fine.

Thank you for this report. This bug is really annoying.
The desirable correction is not only to have a larger file selector, but above all for it to memorize its position and size as soon as they are modified, and for this to be saved when the software exits
It has been working like this in the past but there is a regression at this time

I can confirm this behavior also on Pop!_OS 22.04 but only on monitors with 16:9 (or less) ratio. It works ok on a monitor with 21:10 aspect ratio.

This Bug seems to be similar to BUG 486310
