Created attachment 175997 [details] Screenshot of the appearence tab in settings showing the global themes window with the alert message same on: Linux/KDE Plasma: Debian 12 KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.103.0 Qt Version: 5.15.8
I'm also experiencing this problem on Steamdeck. Steam: OS 3.6.20 Build: 20241030.1 KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.10 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.115.0 Qt version: 5.15.12 Kernel: 6.5.0-valve22-1-neptune-65 GP: x11
See the following comment https://discuss.kde.org/t/global-theme-all-categories-missing/24747/43 On Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS | KWin version: 5.27.11 | Qt compile version: 5.15.13 the following is output: kf.newstuff.core: Could not find category "121" Each category inside store.kde.org has a corresponding category id. In this case 121 maps to Global Themes (Plasma 5) - KDE Store which is Global Themes (Plasma 5) The framework knewstuff makes use of configuration files inside /usr/share/knsrcfiles Backup the following file and then edit /usr/share/knsrcfiles/lookandfeel.knsrc Update Categories=121 With Categories=Global Themes (Plasma 5) Then try to get new themes again.
That did the trick! (Kubuntu 24.04 LTS, Plasma 5.27.11)
