Switch to a different activity than default. 2. Rotate screen to the side, either in Settings/Display & Monitor or in shell with /usr/bin/kscreen-doctor output.1.rotation.left (or right). OBSERVED RESULT Wallpaper is cropped for the top half of the screen only. Also solid color desktop background is top half only. (I'm guessing it is 1080 pixels tall despite the screen being 1920 pixels tall in portrait mode) EXPECTED RESULT Wallpaper to be scaled or for solid color to fill entire desktop background. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora KDE 41 KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.6.0 Qt Version: 6.8.0 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Confirmed on git-master This affects automatic screen rotation as well
Hi - checking in on this one, on Plasma 6.4.0, does this issue still occur only on Activities other than the default, or does it now occur on all Activities? Checking because of the report made here: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=504596 Thanks!
