Created attachment 175486 [details] screenshots I am a researcher, I currently read numerous PDF documents and take notes on them. I downloaded the Okular to add bookmarks to my PDFs and other formats of E-books. Yesterday, I changed the location of some PDF files (replaced into another folder) and today I unfortunately noticed that all of my bookmarks are GONE. I have read your instructions on bookmarks and notes, and I guess I did nothing wrong. Moreover, I did not understand what you mean by "Remember that the removal of a document item leads to the removal of all bookmarks in the corresponding document" in https://docs.kde.org/stable5/en/okular/okular/bookmark-management.html I added some screenshots about it, to describe my problem. I am waiting for help, or reasonable explanations about this. If I am unable to add bookmarks to my documents, I will no longer use this application. SOFTWARE/OS INFO: Okular 23.08.1 (downloaded from Microsoft Store in October 2024) Windows 11 Pro 64-bit 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700H 2.30 GHz
> I will no longer use this application. Are you threatening us with a good time? Please don't stop! Now seriously, bookmarks are not stored in the file because that's impossible, so move the files back to the place they had when you made the bookmarks and your bookmarks will be back. You are right though that we are probably lacking some kind of managemnt in this regard so that people can move files AND the bookmarks associated to them.

Created attachment 175504 [details] attachment-1821817-0.html Yes, it's rude! It wasn't a threat, it was a fact. How on earth you did not understand it. I need to store my bookmarks. 4 Kas 2024 Pzt 00:29 tarihinde Albert Astals Cid <bugzilla_noreply@kde.org> şunu yazdı: > https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=495750 > > --- Comment #2 from Albert Astals Cid <aacid@kde.org> --- > > Are you threatening us with a good time?
