Created attachment 175475 [details] Firefox false positive instances blocking sleep SUMMARY Firefox video playing from youtube, instagram or any source block the sleep and screen locking correctly but (I think) they never removed, and after some hours using Firefox and even if no video is playing, there are many Firefox false positive cases are blocking sleep and screen locking (see the attacment) STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open firefox 2. Reproduce any video from any source 3. Close the tab, the Firefox video playing is still present in the Power and Battery icon tray OBSERVED RESULT Many Firefox false positive cases are blocking sleep and screen locking when nothing is playing EXPECTED RESULT Firefox should be blocking sleep only when is playing something, and should be removed when finished SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.7.0 Qt Version: 6.8.0 Kernel Version: 6.6.58-1-lts (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 6 × AMD Ryzen 5 4500U with Radeon Graphics Memory: 30.8 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon Graphics
Happens to me as well, since upgrading to Plasma 6 from Plasma 5. Firefox prevents monitors from turning off. There is an icon on the bottom right of the screen "Power Management", it shows Firefox is preventing sleep even tho' there is no Firefox running.
